Lotteries at Atterbury-Muscatatuck

Starting in 2022, Atterbury-Muscatatuck began utilizing the iSportsman lottery process for some of our special firearm hunts and public access for deer archery hunting. All participants wishing to enter for these special hunts must acquire the hunt specific lottery entry permit. After the lottery period has ended, iSportsman will conduct a random drawing and notify winners via email. Drawn hunters will then need to complete the iSportsman account validation process and acquire the permits for their hunt. ALL LOTTERY PARTICIPANTS MUST BE 18 OR OVER.

You can see a step by step guide on entering an iSportsman lottery HERE

Winners can find a guide on completing their permit acquisition HERE

Participants are NOT required to acquire an Access Pass prior to entering a lottery. Successful applicants MUST acquire an Access Pass prior to acquiring their hunt permit(s). Those wishing to hunt or trap on Atterbury-Muscatatuck must present proof of a valid Hunter's Education Course. This is a firm requirement. No one is grandfathered. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Hunting with Another Participant

Lottery hunters will be able to hunt with one (1) other participant as long as the two hunters enter the lottery as a group. The first member of the group will create the group entry and receive a unique key code for the group. The second hunter in the group will use the key code when entering the lottery to link the two hunters together. You will receive a separate key code for each lottery. Make sure you are entering the correct key code for the lottery, or your applications will not be joined together. If you do not enter the lottery as a group, there is no guarantee that both hunters will be drawn to hunt together. Lottery selections are specific to the hunter(s) that entered. Winning permits can not be transferred to a different hunter.
